KickStarter Power Users
I spend a lot of time studying KickStarters trying to learn new ideas, reward structures and best tips. There are some
incredible guides on the internet. Make sure to read the tips at Stonemaier Games
and James Mathe's blog (owner of Minion Games (which appears on the PowerKickers list below)).
Definitely also join, read and participate at
KickStarter Best Practices & Lessons Learned to get great advice on the building your KickStarter. But after looking through those,
you will probably find that reading through actual KickStarters can really help give you ideas.
I wanted to review the KickStarters of the creators who have built multiple successful KickStarters so that I could see what they
were doing to keep funding their KickStarters. I pulled together the top 30 Creators of mid-sized or larger projects based on number of
funding projects with starting funding goals of $1,500 or more.
When using the site for research, try to find creators that are a similar size to yours. You probably do not have the massive
customer base of some of these creators. Looking over creators of a similar size to your company will give you the best tips
for building your own KickStarter story, video, rewards and stretch goals.
